Enable MAC pass through on Lenovo Thinkpad T14s

Here is a walk tough to enable MAC pass though for when connecting it to a docking but don’t want to use the MAC of the docking because of network security.

This is only for the Lenovo Thinkpad T14s

Start the laptop by pressing the Power button and Press F12 on the keyboard to enter the Boot menu/BIOS

When your Boot menu/BIOS is Password protected, Enter the Password and press con Continue

Now Entering Boot Menu

Now you entered the Boot Menu. Your mouse is available here.

Move your mouse to App Menu and click on it

On the right side click on Setup

Now you are in the setup

Move the mouse to Config and Click on it.

Click on Network

Now you are in the Network config. On the last row there is MAC Address Pass Through. Click on Disabled (If it is not on enabled)

Select Internal MAC Address

When its set Press F10 to Save and Exit

Click on Yes to confirm

Now the laptop is ready.

Enable MAC pass through on Lenovo T480s

Start the laptop by pressing the Power button and Press F12 on the keyboard to enter the Boot menu/BIOS

When your Boot menu/BIOS is Password protected, Enter the Password

Now the system is entering the Boot Menu

The Boot Menu is now loaded.

Use TAB on your keyboard to switch to App Menu, then press Enter to go in to Setup

Now you are entered in to the BIOS

Use the right arow key to move to Config, and press Enter on the Network

Now use the down arrow key to go to MAC Address Pass Through

When you are on MAC Address Pass Through

Press the Enter Key, Press on Down arrow key to Enable it, and press Enter

When it is enabled. Press F10 to Save and Exit the BIOS

Confirm the changes by selecting Yes and then Enter

Now the laptop is ready.

Export Outlook contacts to Google Contacts for using Whatsapp on Business phone

Open outlook and go to File


Open & Export

Import/Export

Select Export to a File and then on Next

Select Comma Separated Values and then on Next

Scroll up and select Contacts and then on Next

Save the file somewhere locally by clicking on Browse

And click on Finish

Now your contacts are exported to a file

Now open browser and go to https://contacts.google.com/ sign-in with your google account. What you use on your phone.

On the left side almost at the end (Scroll down) click on Import

Create a separate ‘Label’ for the imported contacts to renew them if needed.
Click on (For me on GAL)

At the end of the scroll window, Click on New Label and enter a name. And uncheck (for me GAL)

Click on Bestand selecteren (Select File)

Select the csv file what you created from outlook.
And click then on Importeren (Import)


Now all your company contacts are in your google account.
Now you can use it with your Whatsapp
